Ready Boost for Vista

I have recently been trying to improve the performance of my laptop (Samsung Q35), my normal technique would be to load the system with as much RAN as the machine can cope with. However the Q35 only has one memory slot and will only support 1 GB (plus the 256MB on the board. So I am in the process of playing with the ReadyBoost facility in Vista. Currently I am using a 1GB extreme III SD card, and the performance increase was just noticeable, the shut down time seems to be a fair bit longer though. I have ordered a 2GB 150x SD card to try. I will let you know how I get on.
